Statement
Through the interactive sculptures, people feel the hierarchical system in the urban space. As someone who grew up in the city, I have witnessed the changes in my home city. More and more new high-rise buildings are appearing in the city, and the old buildings are slowly disappearing. Occasionally, you will look up, and you will find that there are tall buildings all around you. Gradually, people also have a strong desire for high buildings because they gradually become a symbol of success, representing not only the city's and economy's development but also a condescending attitude. In my practice, I use the high rise as a metaphor for power in contemporary urban space and reflect it through the unfairness of the designed game, confrontation, and rewards.
