Cheoloh Park

Statement

Cheoloh's art is a powerful critique of society. He delves into the impact of grid-based architecture, which he sees as a reflection of the solidarity structure of people's lives. He believes it can potentially suppress creativity and trigger anxiety, a view he vividly visualises in his films. Using characters and various objects in his videos, he brings to the forefront the conflict between conformity and individuality in today's society. His work is a bold criticism of society's power structure and regulations, inviting the audience to engage with these pressing issues.
